We are a newly engaged couple living on Vancouver Island, eager to explore this jewel of British Columbia. We started this blog as a way to record our adventures as we move through life, and to share these experiences in a positive way with those around us.
About Katie:
Born and raised in northern BC, Katie is happiest when she is in the mountains. She loves exploring, whether it be on two feet or two wheels. One of her bucket-list hikes is her "namesake" Kate's Needle on the BC-Alaska border. She looks forward to more adventures with Ryan.
About Ryan:
Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Ryan grew up exploring through Strathcona Provincial Park on skis in the winter and on the trail in the summer. He loves to get outside - be it backpacking, on the water, or on the road. Ryan's personal goal in the coming years is to complete the Island Qualifiers.
